First up, the waiting game for official economic data is almost over. Tomorrow, investors will get the November jobs report [music] along with some labor market data for October. Later this week, we’ll also receive a key inflation report with the consumer [music] price index. The data deluge will help provide insight into the Fed’s fight against inflation and the health of the US labor market. The central bank now sees one rate cut next year, even after two officials dissented to keep rates on pause. But bad news [music] could be good news for investors. Maybe we’re back to that. Morgan Stanley’s Mike Wilson says any [music] labor market weakness could keep rate cuts on the table, and he says that’s a net positive [music] for stocks. Others on Wall Street are bullish as well. City Group, for example, sees earnings growth [music] delivering a 13% rally for the S&P 500 next year. Stocks are currently trading near record highs and the benchmark index is [music] looking to close out a third consecutive year of double-digit gains.
