Lord, As I prepare to rest, I pray that You fill my mind - An Evening Prayer Before Going To Bed

Dear Heavenly Father, as the day draws to a close, I come before you with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for guiding me through this day, for the blessings you have given, and for the challenges that helped me grow. I am thankful for the strength you provided to face every moment and for your loving presence that never leaves me.

Lord, I ask for your forgiveness for any mistakes I may have made today. If I have spoken words that hurt others, acted in ways that were unkind, or let worry and fear take over my heart, please forgive me. Help me to learn from my shortcomings and to be a better person tomorrow.

As I prepare to rest, I pray that you fill my mind with peace, calm any anxieties or fears that may be troubling me. Let your comforting hand be upon me, soothing my soul and easing my worries. I trust in your protection, knowing that you watch over me even as I sleep.

I pray for my loved ones tonight, that you keep them safe and bless them with peaceful rest. May your love surround them, and may they feel your presence with them throughout the night. Protect them from harm and grant them the peace that only you can give.

Lord, I also lift up those who are struggling tonight, whether they are facing illness, loneliness, or sorrow. May they find comfort in you. Be their strength and their hope. Let them know they are not alone and that you are with them in every moment of their pain.

As I close my eyes and lay down to sleep, I surrender all my worries and plans to you. Help me to trust in your timing and to rest in the knowledge that you are in control. I pray for sweet and restful sleep so I can wake up refreshed and ready to serve you with a renewed spirit.

Thank you, Lord, for your endless love and care. May I rest in your peace tonight and rise tomorrow with a heart full of joy and gratitude. I give you all the praise and glory now and forever. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.
